Horse Riding GamesThere’s more to riding a horse than just trotting up and down a field you know! We have loads of great ideas for having fun on horseback and we play all day.

Here’s some of the horse riding games that we play while we are out in the Nottinghamshire countryside:

  • Horse yoga
  • Head, Shoulders, Knees and toes
  • Pass the parcel
  • Relay racing
  • and loads more

Children’s Birthday party

Everyone can join in the fun at our kids birthday party days. It doesn’t matter if you have never ridden before, because our horse riding games are as safe as they are fun! Helmets are provided and our friendly horses know the ropes, so you are in good hands!

Singing and dancing – on a horse!

We’ll get the kids singing and dancing on their first lesson – what better way to learn and grow in confidence. It can be daunting when you get on a horse for the first time, but when you learn by having fun everything seems a lot easier.

In case you hadn’t noticed, we like to have fun down here at Sherwood Riding School, Newark with our horse riding games. That doesn’t mean that we aren’t serious about horse riding though, and we can teach to to any level of ability. We also keep you and your children safe above all other things.

The Horses love the fun and games too, except Digby who doesn’t even notice anything around him  - unless it involves a carrot. We love our animals and know that the variety in their routine is good for them

So if you are planning a birthday party, looking for something to do occupy the children in the school holidays or want to learn a new skill in a fun and friendly environment, come down to Sherwood Riding School near Newark and play some great horse riding games!
